NEEDED! Part Time, Experienced Veterinary Nurse For Warm, Friendly Clinic In The Illawarra
The Grange Vet Clinic is a friendly, busy, small animal veterinary clinic located just south of Wollongong, NSW.
We all genuinely care for animals and have a mission to provide a caring and professional veterinary service to the pets of the Illawarra. In fact, we've been doing just that for 25 years!
We are now looking for another vet nurse to join our compassionate team.
The position is permanent part time, with the possibility of additional hours in the future.
Initially, hours offered are three to four days per week, with one Saturday morning in four once you are settled in.
A Certificate IV in Vet Nursing is essential, and experience is preferred.
A minimum of 1-2 years of veterinary nursing experience is required.
The successful applicant will be expected to be able to perform all aspects of veterinary nursing, including surgery and anaesthetic monitoring, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, running in house bloods, assisting with radiographs, admission and discharge of patients, helping maintain a clean and efficient hospital and, most importantly, providing that essential love and care for all our patients.
Wages will be in line with experience, and continuing education is actively encouraged.
