The Role This consultancy is seeking an Associate / Principal Structural Engineer to join the Buildings team in their Sydney office. The role will be suitable for a structural design expert experienced in building projects. they are currently working on a wide range of health care, commercial, residential, industrial and educational building projects In this role, you will be a technical and business leader within the structural section and will be able to influence the design and project delivery of all projects assigned to you. You will be able to work independently on a wide range of projects with an ability to manage workload on several projects at different stages of completion. In this role, apart from utilising your technical expertise, you will be client facing, involved in developing new business, networking, and managing stakeholders. The Responsibilities Undertake Structural engineering assessment and calculations for the detailed structural design of Buildings Assist Structural Team in successfully completing projects, with focus on program, documentation, profitability, technical aspects, risk management and overall Client satisfaction Provide technical competence in the planning and design of complex projects Correspond with a range of clients and stakeholders including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies Work closely and develop trusted relationships with other project stakeholders, internal and external to achieve efficient and cost-effective solutions with a high-quality outcome Demonstrate a high degree of technical knowledge, providing oversight and supervision to ensure successful project delivery The Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering Demonstrated structural design experience of Buildings, ideally in engineering consultancy.
