The Team:
The Specialist Palliative Care Team is a dynamic multidisciplinary team servicing the North West of Tasmania. Comprising medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, we support patients and their families in the community on their palliative journey, as well as clinicians within the Acute RACF and Community settings, providing clinical knowledge support and guidance. Our team collaborates closely to achieve healthcare excellence and improved outcomes for our consumers.
The Role:
As an educator for the SPCS team, you will support team learning by delivering expert support in nursing and palliative care. For further details, please refer to the statement of duties.
You will need:
* Hold or be working towards a postgraduate qualification in palliative care (desirable)
* Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable)

Details of appointment:
Fixed-term full-time day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 24 March 2025 until 27 March 2026.
*Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that this selection process may be used for subsequent or similar vacancies for up to twelve months from the date of publication.
Salary:
$114,851 to $121,886 per annum (Pro rata), with an Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution. Salary is in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Additional allowances based on qualification may include:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10%

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the following criteria:
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
* Current Driver's Licence
Desirable criteria include:
* Holding or working towards a relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification in specialised palliative care management with community experience
* Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
