Your newcompany is based in the Mount Isa region and is a fully operational undergroundmining and processing site. With a robust focus on project-based work, they arecurrently seeking experienced tradespeople to support ongoing mechanicalupgrades and installations.
Your new role
We areseeking a Trade-Qualified Mechanical Fitter to join the team on a FIFO rosterfrom Brisbane or Townsville, or DIDO from Mount Isa. The roster is 8/6 or 7/7(Tuesday to Tuesday) and will run through until 23 December. This is aproject-based role, meaning your work will be varied and not limited totraditional fitting tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
To besuccessful in this role, you will need:
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
- Forklift licence
- Doggingticket
- HRlicence (minimum)
- Aflexible and proactive approach to varied project work
- Previous experience in mining or heavy industry environments (highly regarded)
