Clinical midwives play a crucial role in delivering quality patient care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes. As a clinical midwife in a remote setting, you will provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
Responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, performing routine examinations, and developing individualized care plans. You will also be responsible for fetal surveillance, advanced life support, and neonatal resuscitation.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of clinical guidelines, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
* At least 3 years' experience as a midwife in an MGP model
* ALS certification
* FSEP qualification
* RANZCOG Level 2 CTG competency
* MEC/REC qualification
* Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation certification
