The Role
In this key role, you will lead the design, development, implementation and monitoring of prevention education initiatives that empower educators through high‐quality professional learning, resources and services. You will deliver strategic advice aligned with state and national priorities and best‐practice.
You will lead collaboration across Western Australia's education landscape to build partnerships and deliver high‐impact initiatives. Your work will be informed by research, analysis and strategic planning to ensure continuous enhancement and innovation.

Eligibility
* Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or holder of a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
* Hold a recognised qualification in teaching and be currently registered or eligible for registration to teach in Western Australia.
* Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
* Hold and maintain a current 'C' class driver's licence.
* Undertake travel throughout the state, including overnight stays in non‐metropolitan locations and travelling in small aeroplanes to remote locations, as required.

* Demonstrated highly developed skills and experience in managing and implementing system‐wide projects or programs in a large and complex organisation.
* Demonstrated highly developed leadership skills with the ability to develop strategic directions in accordance with program objectives, visions and goals.
* Demonstrated highly developed conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to provide innovative solutions to strategic and complex problems and issues that inform decision‐making.
