About this role
An Australian owned, importer of leading designer Rugs and Furniture is looking for a Sales Consultant based in their stunning Armadale Showroom.
In this role you will work and build rapport with premium clients and trade. The ideal candidate will be trained in interior styling, with the ability to put together rug and furniture plans and work with clients on colour selections. You will have at least 2 year's experience in furniture/homeware sales and/or interior styling.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage end-to-end sales for residential and retail customers.
2. Take clients through rug and furniture selection, customisation and design consultation
3. Perform administrative duties including answering phones, providing quotations and data input to ensure that follow-up and service excellence is maintained
4. Liaise with the manufacturing team as required, relating to order issues, delivery bookings, etc.
5. Assist with the preparation of company events and oversee the progression of projects as required
6. Achieve a defined set of sales KPIs and targets
Skills and Experience:
7. Demonstrated high-end customer service or sales experience relevant to the interior design market
8. Interior styling experience with a natural creative flair
9. A strong personal interest in rugs, furniture and interior styling
10. A positive attitude and an extremely high level of enthusiasm, initiative and self-drive
11. Be a highly adept communicator and presenter
12. Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
13. Ability to work independently
14. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
