Our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their team in a State Government department on 3 days per week or the hours spread out over 5 days. This role is a day rate contract initially until the end of May 2025 with the potential to extend further.
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the implementation of strategic initiatives. Your analytical expertise will help the client enhance operational efficiency and achieve business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
* Developing business workflows
* Draft User Stories, acceptance criteria and config specifications
* Attending all vendor workshops and capturing business workflows/actions/etc.
* Reviewing and revising the design
* Contributing to the Graduate Program, including BRD, requirements, process flows.
* Participating in testing activities, including acting as Test Manager, creating test plans, test cases, and coordinating UAT
* Assisting in training by incorporating learnings and UAT test cases
Key Experience:
* Strong understanding of NSW Government workforce frameworks, including:
o Workforce mobility and secondments
o Talent marketplaces / capability pools
o Employment arrangements (ongoing, temporary, contingent)
* Strong Stakeholder Management skills
* Government experience is important
* Produce high-quality artefacts suitable for executive and governance forum
