Byron Shire Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic Project Control Support Officer. The position plays a key role in delivering quality cost control tracking, procurement support, and providing technical and administrative support to the internal delivery of Natural Disaster Works and Construction projects delivered by Infrastructure Services Works crews.

Some specific tasks include:

* Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports, including cost management for works - infrastructure recovery projects under AGRN 1012 and working closely with Project Managers directly responsible for the delivery of Essential Public Asset Reconstruction (EPAR) that are programmed for delivery by Works.
* Maintaining accurate records of all payments and claims, documenting all transactions, correspondence, and supporting evidence in Council's record systems and ensuring compliance for external audits.
* Providing high quality technical administrative support and advice for the Works Construction Team delivering EPAR scopes and Business as Usual activities where directed.

Location:

This position is based at Byron Depot, how ever Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
