About This Role
On behalf of our client, a High-Profile Leading Oil & Gas Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Quantity Surveyor & Cost Advisor to join a major Gathering Execution Team in a client-side, field-based advisory role. This will be a 12 month FIFO or BIBO contract, 19 days on / 9 days off roster, 10 hour days, located in remote Southern Queensland.
* Will focus on on-site commercial oversight, cost transparency, productivity monitoring and contractor performance across a large-scale gathering scope
* Review contractor reports, timesheets and progress claims against observed site activities
* Conduct field quantity measurements and verify installed works
* Monitor productivity, labour/equipment utilisation and schedule performance
* Identify cost, productivity and commercial risks
* Support validation of claims, variations and contract compliance
* Participate in site walks, progress meetings and stakeholder coordination
* Provide reporting and fact-based insights to the Site Leadership Teams
Requirements
* Extensive experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Control OR Project Controls
* Oil & Gas, Pipeline or Heavy Infrastructure Project exposure
* Experience with reimbursable, unit rate and lump sum contracts
* Strong quantity measurement, reporting, and cost tracking capability
* Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
