Supervisor City Build Plumbing and Gas ServicesRestricted Private Use of a Council VehicleA 9-day fortnight work pattern applies to this roleVacancy 101/2025The opportunityWe are in the market for an outstanding individual to develop and deliver the planned and reactive plumbing and gas works to ensure the City's buildings, facilities and structures are well maintained, fit for purpose and highly functional.You will be someone who is able to get this done through the effective and efficient management of in-house and contracted plumbing and gas tradespersons, and other building services.To be successful in this role, you will need:Diploma or equivalent in Engineering, Building or associated disciplineHold a valid and current Plumbing Contractor's Licence issued by the Plumbing Licencing Board of Western Australia (must include Water, Drainage and Sanitary)Construction Safety Induction CardWorking at Heights Ticket or willing to obtainKnowledge, experience and understanding of building compliance (including electrical and mechanical) legislation, and the ability to interpret standards and codesStrong awareness and knowledge of safety issues relating to the operation of equipment in the installation/maintenance of works in a busy, people filled environmentHigh level of knowledge, experience and performance in budgeting and expenditure managementHigh level of knowledge and performance in project and contract managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationshipsAbility to manage and prioritise individual work responsibilities to achieve target outcomesNote: Please refer to the position description for more information about the role.How to applySound exactly like the sort of role for you?
