The Royal Hobart Hospital is seeking Medical Registrars to join our team in the Department of General and Acute Care Medicine. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking RACP-accredited Basic Physician Training.
About the Role
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic medical professionals to work as Medical Registrars in our busy hospital. As a Medical Registrar, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the Hospital and provide after-hours emergency cover at the hospital.
* Responsibilities include managing patient care, providing education and training to junior medical staff, and participating in multidisciplinary teams.
* You will also have the opportunity to participate in research projects, quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).
