Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Repairable Item Management Officer to join our diverse E-7A Wedgetail In Support Services (WISS) team in providing supply chain expertise. We are looking for a motivated individual to be responsible and accountable for Repairable Item management, assessment and item ownership. As well as supporting and working within our team you will have the opportunity to gain exposure and build your professional network as you connect with stakeholders across the Boeing company. This position plays an essential role in carrying out effective repairable item management and resolving issues that prevent assets from being processed effectively throughout the supply chain. This position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure supply chain compliance and, ultimately, aircraft availability. This role is located at RAAF Base Williamtown.

Responsibilities
* Assist in the management of repairable items (RI's) inductions and forecast recommendations.
* Conduct repairable item analysis, inventory and stock level assessments to support the supply chain.
* Develop and maintain relationships of trust and honesty with all internal and external stakeholders and prime partners.
* Identify and resolve customer supply chain issues and discrepancies.
* Transact within ERP management systems for the execution of raising repair orders recommending purchases, provisioning, receipt and dispatch of spares.
* Provide support to customer enquiries relating to repairable items stock availability, system processes and forecast requirements.
* Identify and investigate items impacting platform availability.
Experience / Qualifications
* Previous experience in Integrated Logistic fundamentals, such as conducting repairable item stock analysis, forecasting requirements and usage assessments, RI management within the Defence environment.
* Ability to work with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
* High level written and oral communication and negotiation skills to facilitate open interaction between customer support teams, suppliers and key internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrated experience in identifying, establishing and promoting supply process improvements at the project level.
* Understanding of Airworthiness standards and advanced knowledge of ERP platforms (ORACLE/SAP4Hana preferred).
* NV1 security clearance or ability to obtain.
* Competent in the use of PC, MS Windows and MS Office suite.
