Fitter & Turner - Services page is loaded## Fitter & Turner - Servicesremote type: On-Sitelocations: Warrnambool, VICtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: May 16, 2026 (29 days left to apply)job requisition id: JR63591**How you will make contributions that matter**We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fitter & Turner to join our Allansford factory, supporting the reliability and performance of production assets, utilities, and site services across a large, complex dairy manufacturing site.We are seeking a motivated, committed, and reliable tradesperson who thrives in a varied environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is keen to contribute to continuous improvement and asset reliability.This role is a Day-shift role, working Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required and offered.**Your responsibilities will include:*** Maintain and repair production equipment, utilities, and site infrastructure, including boilers, water treatment plants and key services.* Accurately record maintenance activities and equipment changes in SAP PM, following site standards and procedures.* Support both planned maintenance routines and respond to breakdowns as part of the day fitter pool.* Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to reliability improvements and defect elimination.* Work collaboratively with the Reliability Team, Services Planner, and other site trades to ensure safe and efficient operations.* Perform all work in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements and legislative policies.**About you:*** Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent is highly desirable.* Experience in maintenance within manufacturing or food processing environments (dairy experience advantageous, but not essential).* Practical understanding of food manufacturing hygiene and GMP/HACCP expectations.* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and reliability.* Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.* Ability to adapt to varied tasks and support both services and production maintenance as needed.**We'll support you with:*** The opportunity to make contributions that matter, while being supported by a multinational, values-led company.* On-the-job training and development opportunities, including guidance from experienced site leaders.* Monday to Friday Shift Pattern, with flexibility on Start and Finish times offeredClick Apply to submit your application and learn more about the role.Saputo Dairy Australia is an equal opportunity employer.
