We are seeking someone who is able to adapt to our farms procedures to continue the smooth operations of our Avocado and Banana paddocks.
Applicants must have experience in horticulture operations management in both Avocado’s and Banana’s. You will also require a current driver’s licence, high risk work licence (Forklift), First Aid certificate, ability to communicate professionally and physical fitness for our tropical climate. A truck licence will be highly regarded.
Your general duties will include but are not limited to:
· Monitoring Avocado and Banana paddocks and resolving any issues related to growing
· Maintaining WHS compliance and adherence to safety protocols
· Ensuring all quality assurance measures are met and record keeping is accurate
· Eagerly engaging with supervisors and contractors to address any supply and/or quality issues
· Coordinating irrigation, fertigation, misting, weed spraying, harvesting, pruning and mulching
· Organising all associated paddock materials
· Managing the picking and packing schedules
· Managing and guiding the overall direction of paddock teams
· General up-keep of farms and production of quality produce
