About the Role:

Mossop Construction + Interiors is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to lead our safety and environmental initiatives across diverse and high-profile projects.

Reporting to the Director of Construction, you will play a key role in fostering a safe, compliant and sustainable work environment. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives on collaboration and wants to make a tangible impact on safety culture and outcomes.

Duties include:

* Develop, implement and continuously improve HSE systems, policies and procedures.
* Provide expert advice and support to project teams across tender, design, and delivery phases.
* Lead safety training, site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company objectives.
* Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
* Represent Mossop at industry forums and regulatory audits.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental management.

About You:

* Tertiary qualifications in Health, Safety & Environment (or related field).
* Minimum 5 years' HSE management experience in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice and industry standards.
* Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive approach with the ability to influence positive safety behaviours.

Role Requirements:

* National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
* White Card
* First Aid Certification (desirable)
* Working with Children 9or willing to obtain)
* Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test

As our people are required to attend government, health and education facilities and construction sites, it is a condition of employment for this role, that the ability to pass a pre-employment medical, background police check and working with children clearance is adhered to.
