We're seeking Packing Operators for ongoing roles with our client in grain milling and food production.
About the Role
As a Packing Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring all packing and mixing functions are carried out to meet production specifications. Your duties will include:
* Blending flour and filling bulk packing bins.
* Monitoring packing operations and equipment performance.
* Recording production data in SAP and ensuring accurate labeling and batch coding.
* Performing metal detection checks and CCP procedures.
* Cleaning equipment and maintaining hygiene standards.
* Communicating breakdowns and production issues to supervisors.
* Supporting shift handovers and contributing to a safe, efficient workplace.
You will begin on day shift for initial training and then transition into a rotating three-shift pattern (day, afternoon, and night shifts) to support continuous operations. You'll thrive in a fast-paced grain milling environment where attention to detail, safety, and teamwork are key to success.

What We Seek
* Must have valid permanent working rights in Australia.
* Full-time availability for rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime.
* Current drivers and forklift license are required.
* Certificate III or IV in Food Processing is desirable.
* Previous experience in food production or a similar environment.
* Familiarity with HACCP and food safety systems.
* Ability to operate machinery in a computer or PLC-controlled setting.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain high accuracy.
* Commitment to safety and hygiene standards.
* Ideally suited to candidates living in or around Port Adelaide.
