Looking for an experienced pharmacist to work within the Clinical Trials Pharmacy at Royal North Shore Hospital. The Clinical Trials Pharmacy at Royal North Shore Hospital is a growing service, currently supporting >200 clinical trials. The service has an experienced track record of attracting, initiating, and completing academically valuable research and trials from phase 1-3 that are both investigator initiated and collaborative commercially sponsored trials. A large proportion of trials are conducted in Medical Oncology and Haematology so a Clinical Trials Pharmacist with experience in Cancer Care and/or aseptic preparation is an asset. Where you'll be working Royal North Shore Hospital – Royal North Shore is a principal tertiary referral hospital for Northern Sydney Local Health District providing a comprehensive range of complex services to patients from across NSW. It has a strong and proud history in education, research and provision of high quality clinical care. RNSH provides specialty services including major trauma, severe burns, spinal cord injuries, neonatal intensive care, bone marrow transplantation, neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology alongside acute medical, surgical, mental health, paediatric, cancer and maternity services. What you'll be doing To provide pharmaceutical care to consumers within the NSLHD including pharmacist support to the service being provided. To provide education and medicines information services to consumers, carers and families, and other health care professionals. To participate as active members of multi-disciplinary teams. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Must hold registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the provision of Pharmacy services to consumers, carers and families requiring medication reconciliation, dispensing and dosing. Proven ability to work independently and to establish effective collaborative working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and interagency networks. Demonstrated relevant clinical pharmacy experience (including experience in clinical trials and/or Oncology/Haematology) in a busy hospital environment.
