Chandler Macleod are seeking an Operations Coordinator to support our client in coordinating operations at their Erskine Park location. This position is a full time 3 month temporary assignment starting ASAP with potential extension or view to permanent.
**Responsibilities**:
- Update and manage the business continuity plan (BCP) with input from Operations Manager, Risk Management, and other stakeholders. 
- Follow up on BCP actions with all stakeholders. 
- Engage subcontractors as required and coordinate work allocated to them. 
- Coordinate allocation of work to internal drivers from other business units. 
- Book flights and accommodations for external drivers as required. 
- Review manual runsheets daily to identify missed/serviced bins. 
- Support reallocation of work to next days. 
- Communicate missed/serviced bins to stakeholders. 
- Coordinate communication with Customer Service, Platinum, and Sales. 
- Collate feedback from drivers and other stakeholders and maintain an action register. 
- Support recovery work. 
- Coordinate lessons learned and update BCP.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in operations coordination or a similar role. 
- Strong organizational and time management skills. 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. 
- Knowledge of business continuity planning is desirable. 
- Experience in waste management or logistics industry is preferred.
