Be challenged and imagine with us We are seeking a highly organised and adaptable International Marketing Coordinator to support the delivery of targeted global student recruitment digital campaigns. This is a hands-on role where you will bring campaigns and marketing projects to life, working across content, creative and digital channels to engage future international students and support enrolment growth. The role Reporting to the International Marketing Manager, you will take campaign direction and translate it into coordinated, high-quality marketing activity. You will work closely with designers, content specialists and internal stakeholders to plan, develop and roll out campaigns across multiple channels. A typical week will see you coordinating campaign timelines, briefing creative assets, reviewing content, and ensuring everything is aligned to strategy and brand. You will monitor performance, analyse results and provide insights to optimise campaign effectiveness and inform future decision-making. This role sits within a collaborative team structure, with two Coordinators and an Officer supporting broader business development activity. You will play a key role in connecting strategy to execution and ensuring campaigns are delivered smoothly and effectively. This includes: Coordinating the planning and rollout of international marketing campaigns across digital channels Working with design and content teams to develop engaging marketing collateral including video, photoshoots, marketing collateral and digital assets Drafting and adapting copy for web, email, social media, advertising and print Ensuring messaging is audience-focused, insight-driven and aligned with brand tone of voice Collaborating with stakeholders across the University to deliver consistent and effective campaign activity and shared marketing outcomes Supporting the implementation and optimisation of paid campaigns across search and social platforms Monitoring campaign performance using analytics tools and apply insights to improve outcomes Preparing regular reports and provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders Contributing to a collaborative team environment and support shared goals and initiatives This fixed term position is full time for 12 months at a HEW 6 Higher Education Worker level and is based at Callaghan You will bring Experience coordinating marketing campaigns or projects across multiple channels in an international environment Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Well-developed communication skills, including copywriting and stakeholder engagement A basic understanding of Google Analytics and campaign performance metrics Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Experience with project management tools such as Asana is desirable About our University The University of Newcastle stands as a global leader distinguished by a commitment to equity and excellence.
