About the Theatre Support Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled theatre support professional to join our team. As an operational officer in the theatre, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective support services by following established standards and procedures.
You will work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, collaborating with health professionals to deliver patient care. Your role will involve transporting patients, goods, specimens, and equipment within the operating theatre and various departments, demonstrating courtesy, effectiveness, and efficiency.
This role may require interaction with patients and relatives who are physically, mentally, or emotionally distressed. You must be able to maintain confidentiality and adapt to changing circumstances while prioritizing patient-centred care.
Key Requirements
* Knowledge of theatre operations and use of relevant techniques and equipment.
* Ability to problem-solve, think critically, and communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
* Understanding of confidentiality and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
* Flexibility to respond to changing circumstances and priorities.
