Events and Operations Administrator (Maternity Leave Contract)

About the Role
12 month maternity leave contract with opportunity to extend into ongoing employment for the right candidate. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Planning, execution and coordination of events
- Creation of event budgets
- Management of online ticketing platform
- Creation of event run sheets
- Implementation of specials and promotions
- Coordination of suppliers
- Liaising with customers
- Organisation of offsite catering - inclusive of quotes, orders and run sheets
- Collaboration with BOH & FOH staff
- Answering phones and enquiries
- Utilise a wide variety of booking systems
- Collaboration with team members across each business unit
- Assist with ad-hoc operational and administrative tasks
Preferred but not essential
- Experience with Wordpress and website maintenance
- Knowledge of Adobe suite - InDesign & Illustrator
- Strong Canva skills and a creative flare
- Photography and social media experience
About You
- Minimum of two years’ experience in event/functions or similar role
- Tech savvy and a quick learner
- Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously, multitask and solve problems on the go
