Hays has partnered with a leading RTO to recruit an experienced Quality and Compliance Officer. This RTO offers a range of nationally recognised certificate diploma-level qualifications across a wide range of industries. The organisation provides adaptable online training tailored to its students. It offers flexible online study, dedicated student support and industry-relevant courses. This role is under a partner RTO within the fitness industry.
**Your current role**:
As the quality and compliance officer/VET funding specialist, you will be ensuring compliance with funding contracts, drive funded student progression and completion, as well as being responsible for ensuring the organisation operates to the highest industry standards and complies with RTO requirements. Other principal duties may include:
- Develop and maintain relationships with funding providers and respond to the funding authority's request for information.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding funding compliance and progress
- Participate in internal compliance audits for both ASQA and state-funded program measurables
- Under guidance, assist with the identification and monitoring of compliance risks, and supporting in the rectification activities as identified
- Support the creation and training of policies and procedures for greater business
**What you'll need to succeed**:
- Experience in the vocational education and training (VET) sector and a sound understanding of industry trends and emerging skill requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in vocational education and training funding management
- Intermediate computer skills with packages including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and databases
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in an RTO compliance role.
- Experience participating in internal audits and external audits
