Overview
Assistant Asset Technician role at Careers at Council, Bathurst Regional Council. The main purpose of the Assistant Asset Technician is to maintain Council's asset database, compile custom reports and asset management documentation, manage and update data of new and existing assets into Council's Geographic Information System (GIS), and provide support to the Asset System Administrator and Asset Technician.
Responsibilities

Key Requirements
* IPWEA Professional Certificate in Asset Management or equivalent
* Sound knowledge of Mapping and Database Software
* Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Office products
* Understanding of GIS and GPS
* General knowledge of Asset Management
* A current NSW Class C Driver's Licence
* A General Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Salary: $1,190.10 to $1,250.24 per week + superannuation
Position Status: Permanent – Full-time
Hours of work: 35 hours per week with an RDO every third week
