About This Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated, client-focused Clinics Reception and Administrative Assistant to join our School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. In this role, you will join our friendly and supportive Health and Rehabilitation Clinics team to deliver exceptional customer service on our reception, servicing a diverse client base, including children, families and the elderly. You will be a dynamic administrator, providing trusted support in the day-to-day functioning of the clinic and the team. If you are looking for security and part-time work, this position is ideal. You will work a total of 21.75 hours per week plus lunch breaks. The successful candidate can choose to work either a) shorter days from Monday to Thursday (8am – 2pm daily) or b) Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (8am – 4pm). Key responsibilities will include: Providing reception services to clients of the clinics. Booking client appointments, receiving and making phone calls, responding to email enquiries, and managing waiting lists. Processing invoices and payments, maintaining electronic records and monitoring client accounts. Undertaking a range of support tasks in the clinics spaces such as restocking and ordering. Completion of a diploma level qualification or Certificate IV with relevant work-related experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. You bring attention to detail, professional and courteous interactions, empathy and confidentiality as appropriate to a health care setting. Demonstrated experience in the use of computer applications and other technology relevant to the position such as the Microsoft Office suite of programs, email and messaging applications, internet-based technologies and practice management software.
