ABOUT THE ROLE
The Mobile Crushing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the mobile crushing line on site. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that crushing and screening activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in a cost-effective manner.
With a trade background as a Mechanical Fitter, the Mobile Crushing Supervisor brings both technical expertise and strong leadership skills to the role. The position involves managing a team of operators and maintenance personnel, ensuring high levels of plant availability, production output, and compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Operating in a fast-paced, production-driven environment, the supervisor will be hands-on when required, troubleshooting equipment issues, guiding maintenance activities, and continuously improving operational performance.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
* Recognised Australian Trade Certificate.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in crushing plant operations, with 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
* Fault finding abilities.
* Hands-on knowledge of crushers (jaw, cone, impact), screens, conveyors, and hydraulics.
* High Risk Work Licenses and mobile plant operating tickets (Loader, Excavator, etc.) highly desirable.
* Demonstrated ability in identifying potential and actual problems within the production process.
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contribute to the culture of teamwork and take on responsibility for achieving results.
* Proven experience in working in a fast paced and dynamic environment with multiple conflicting deadlines.
* Proven ability to liaise effectively and collaboratively, to facilitate and achieve desired outcomes and to establish and maintain strong, productive working relationships.
