About The Opportunity
Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) (www.hcma.com.au) is a global brand providing a variety of machinery for the construction and mining industries.
HCA is currently seeking a Trades Assistant to assist Fitters in the day-to-day running of the Muswellbrook Reman Facility.
Reporting to the Reman Centre Supervisor you will be responsible for:
* Assist in store control involving receiving and dispatch of Reman items
* Cleaning and repairing of Reman components as per procedures
* Disassembling components in line with procedures when required
* Maintain a high level of accuracy when carrying out final QA inspections and packaging units ready for dispatch
* Forklift operating
* Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
To be successful in this role:
* You must have a safety focus and abide by site safety processes
* You must be mechanically minded with a willingness to learn
* Have an understanding of Mining, Earthmoving and/or Construction equipment
* Have the ability to recognise basic product quality deviations/faults
* Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
* Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required
* Forklift License and Spray-painting experience will be advantageous
