Facility Manager - Residential Aged Care

As Facility Manager, you'll lead the daily operations of our home, ensuring exceptional care, comfort, and lifestyle for our residents. Reporting to the General Manager of Residential Services, you'll guide a passionate multidisciplinary team supported by experts in Quality, Learning and Development and P&C, operating under AN‑ACC funding guidelines to drive continuous improvement and make the best use of resources. Together, we create a vibrant, inclusive community where residents feel valued, engaged, and truly at home.
What you bring
* Advanced clinical expertise and experience in residential aged care, including serving as an Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Lead.
* Current and ongoing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Previous experience as a Facility Manager.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a residential aged care setting in a clinical management role.
* Proven ability to mentor and motivate staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, and a commitment to person‑centred care principles and continuous quality improvement.
* Proficient in IT, including the Microsoft Office suite and iCare.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing teams, budgets, resources, and operational performance.
* Competency to continuously meet the requirements of Key Personnel as outlined in the Aged Care Act.
* Proficient knowledge of Accreditation Standards and AN‑ACC documentation requirements alongside sound financial management skill.
* Excellent customer service focus and ability to operate autonomously, responding to needs in a timely and systematic manner.
* Current First Aid, CPR and WWCC certifications.
* Comprehensive knowledge of continuous improvement practices and a solid understanding of personal care and resident lifestyle requirements within the Aged Care Standards.
* Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care, Health Services Management, or related field.
* Experience with Aged Care Quality Review and regulatory audits.
* Knowledge of dementia and palliative care.
