Centacare North Queensland provides crisis housing and homelessness support services across North Queensland. The goal is to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families in need.
Main Responsibilities:
 * We provide case management support to those at risk of homelessness or already homeless.
 * Developing early intervention strategies to engage participants and achieve program goals is crucial.
 * Assessments are conducted to ensure eligibility for programs and accurate records are maintained using electronic data systems.
 * We establish partnerships with local stakeholders to promote our services.
 * Meetings, professional supervision, and ongoing development opportunities are essential.
Qualifications and Skills
 * A degree-level qualification in Social Work, Human Services, or Behavioural Sciences or equivalent experience working in a case management framework is required.
 * Excellent communication and analytical skills are necessary, along with a current driver's license.
 * Maintaining a Working with Children Blue Card check and Disability services Yellow Card is essential.
 * Evidence of the right to work in Australia is also required.
Desirable Traits
 * Group facilitation experience can be beneficial.
 * Multidisciplinary team experience is valuable.
 * Flexibility to work outside normal office hours may be required.
