1. Client is a specialist global Enterprise Software Advisory firm, offering tremendous consulting career growth potential and a refreshing change from the big 5. We are searching for a Project Manager with background and experience in Project Management, ideally with IT Software Licensing exposure in SAP, Oracle, and/or Microsoft solutions. If you’re getting big 5 burn out and want the challenge without the grind, this could be your next opportunity.
2. Client provides vendor-agnostic Enterprise Software Licence advisory to clients globally. This can include, Audit Defence, Software Asset Management & ERP Advisory. We don’t resell software or implement entire solutions. We help govern and de-risk them for our clients, providing best practice, skilled advisory.
Primary responsibilities:
3. Staying updated on the latest developments, trends and thinking within the Project Management space.
4. Getting engaged on a diverse range of projects, across many industries and competencies
5. Helping to deliver real value to our clients, being their trusted advisor, giving them the confidence that we can help them deliver a successful project
6. Working collaboratively with a range of experts, with varied experiences and talents – and personalities
7. Flexibility and can-do attitude, earning the trust of internal & external stakeholders to deliver results
8. Bringing a level of energy and maturity to our Project Management capability
Skills and Experience:
9. A professional who has spent at least 3-5 years working as a Project Manager, ideally with experience in managing a full-cycle IT software implementation.
10. A Project Manager with a badge showing you have an industry recognised accreditation (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP)
11. Experienced in numerous Project Management methodologies, such as waterfall and agile – and having an opinion on when to use each one
12. Experienced in working with various project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
13. Talented at identifying opportunities, as well as risks and issues – and being able to develop and implement an action plan
14. Passionate about delivery and just getting it done, with an understanding of customers and businesses, leveraging relationships with stakeholders internal and external
15. A problem solver, who has opinions and ideas on how to challenge the status quo for the greater good.
16. Able to work in a fluid environment, but also able to bring improved structure to the business
17. Good at corralling people, including being comfortable and confident in working with and communicating to senior level people, both internally and externally
18. A natural at planning, managing, reporting, and governing projects, across internal and external stakeholders
19. Articulate, with excellent documentation skills and a high degree of attention to detail – are Excel formula errors annoying to you?
