About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Configuration Manager to support the next phase of the company’s growth .
You'll play a key role in managing system configurations, while facilitating and expediting engineering, design, maintenance and other logistic projects and tasks through our client's configuration management systems.
What You’ll Do
* At the start of each task, you'll perform rapid but comprehensive triage on each request, ensuring that all the data required by our clients' systems is available.
* You'll use your expertise to commence each engineering change by raising a 'Change Request', liaising with, and supported by, our team to make sure you have everything you need.
* You'll manage the change request through its lifecycle, making sure it progresses. When it gets stuck, you'll use our team of experts to help you un-stick it!
* Once completed, you will make sure everything is closed out and any lessons learnt are socialised with the the team so it runs smoother, faster, and better next time!
* You will also participate in a range of other configuration management, asset management (optimisation), logistic and technical functions.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years in high-rigour environments (maritime, aerospace, underwater, EO)
Experience with CM, PLM, ERP systems (eg AMPS/Teamcenter in particular, but could also be SAP, JIRA, Confluence)
Ideally you will have familiarity with MIL-STD-973 for Configuration Management, or be keen to learn
Detail-focused, analytical mindset, excellent communication skills
Hold Baseline clearance
Eligible for NV1 clearance
