The successful applicants will need to possess and undertake:Have a willingness to workBe punctual and responsibleStrong attention to detailProficiency in both MIG and TIG weldingAbility to read and interpret drawings to fine specificationsExperience in handling a range of materials, including difficult materialsExperience with materials such as steel, aluminium & polymerCutting material, weld prep, grindingAdherence to WHSFabrication, boilermaker experience beneficialSelect types of sheetmetal according to building or design plansMeasure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheetsDuct fabrication in some rolesInstall metal sheets with supportive frameworksFabricate or alter parts at construction sitesManeuver and anchor large sheet metal partsSkills & Attributes:At least 3 years' experience in steel/aluminium sheetmetal and/or duct fabricationCertificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) or equivalentSalary range is $70,000 - $85,000 pa commensurate with experience.
