Join us as our Senior Program Officer (AO6).
Your opportunity As the Senior Program Officer (AO6), you will coordinate and deliver minor capital works and asset-related activities across Queensland.
Reporting to the Executive Manager - Asset Management, you'll support the planning and performance of QFD's asset portfolio, ensuring assets meet operational needs and deliver value over their lifecycle.
This role combines project coordination, stakeholder engagement, governance, and maintenance program oversight across a diverse range of facilities.
In this role, you will: * Coordinate and deliver minor works projects across the state * Monitor asset performance, maintenance needs and lifecycle risk * Provide advice on minor capital works, asset utilisation and investment decisions * Support development of asset management plans, policies and procedures * Interpret and apply planning, legislative and departmental requirements * Analyse asset condition assessments and prepare reports for decision-making * Build strong relationships with regions, contractors and internal stakeholders * Contribute to continuous improvement of asset management processes What you will bring You will have: * Experience in asset management, project coordination or building/infrastructure environments * Ability to analyse asset performance, risk and investment needs * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Proven ability to deliver work on time, manage competing priorities and provide high-quality advice * Understanding of government processes, procurement and governance * Excellent written communication skills for reports, briefs and stakeholder updates Mandatory: * C Class Driver Licence Highly desirable: * Qualifications or experience in project management * Experience with asset management systems, maintenance processes and financial reconciliations QFD are proud to be recognised as an employer of choice for women by Work180 and celebrate all diversity by committing to a culture where people feel safe, respected, valued and engaged.
