Position: Infra Cloud Network Specialist
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Salary Range: AUD 108,571 – 119,893 (Annual Gross)
Roles And Responsibilities
- Bottom‑line responsibility of Infosys delivery
- Conduct various governance activities
- Drive, participate and coordinate key meetings with stakeholders
- Provide leadership support and technical direction for Operations Engineers
- Manage Azure DevOps processes
- Manage resources deployed in Azure and Google Cloud Platform environments
- Provision, monitor, scale, and optimise cloud resources
- Integrate GCVE and cloud resources for hybrid deployments
- Optimise cloud costs and monitor for cost efficiency
- Implement and manage disaster recovery solutions in the cloud
- Provide day‑to‑day operational support of production and non‑production environments
- Provision and optimise virtualised infrastructure using VMware and Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE)
- Capacity‑manage to ensure resource availability and performance optimisation
- Provision and manage virtual machines, cloning and lifecycle management
- Create and manage server SoE’s per information‑security policies (approx. 80% Windows, 20% Linux)
- Manage remote‑desktop solutions for non‑production environments and remote access use cases
Essential Skills
- Azure, Azure DevOps pipeline, Version Control System (Git)
- IaC Automation (Terraform/Ansible, Bamboo, Octopus)
- Networking concepts, Ansible
- Agile Principles
- Documentation, Operational Readiness Check, As‑Built documentation, Monitoring and Alarm Instructions
- Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
- Technical Troubleshooting, Scripting (Powershell, Python, yaml, HCL)
