Bright Steps Academy Beresfield is seeking a dedicated and motivated 2IC / Assistant Centre Director to join our supportive and well-established centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early childhood leader who is passionate about supporting educators, building strong relationships, and helping maintain a high-quality environment for children and families.
About the Role
As the 2IC at our Beresfield centre, you will work closely with the Centre Director to support day-to-day operations, guide educators, and uphold compliance and quality standards. You will step into the Responsible Person role as needed and help maintain a warm, professional, and community-focused centre.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Centre Director in daily operations, administration, and team leadership
* Assist with enrolments, tours, family communication, compliance, and reporting
* Mentor and guide educators to deliver engaging, high-quality programs
* Build strong relationships with families and the local community
* Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture
* Act as Responsible Person when required
About You
* Experience in a senior educator or leadership position within Early Childhood Education(2IC or Assistant Director experience: highly regarded)
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ECT qualification (ACECQA-approved)
* Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, and regulatory requirements
* Warm, confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
* A people-focused leader who inspires, supports, and uplifts educators
* Passionate about providing safe, inclusive, and high-quality care
