Chief Financial Officer Position
The position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a crucial role in leading the financial management and operational excellence of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, and reporting, as well as managing organisational operations including IT, facilities, contracts, compliance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
* Ensure payroll and internal processes are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
* Lead the annual audit process and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Draft Board and Committee reports, providing strategic financial insights and recommendations.
* Manage cash flow, budgets, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to ensure the organisation's sustainability.
Operations & Compliance:
* Oversee IT systems, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives to ensure the security and efficiency of our operations.
* Manage high-level facilities and asset planning to ensure safe and cost-effective environments for our employees and clients.
* Drive risk management, business continuity, and compliance frameworks to mitigate potential risks and ensure continuity of operations.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CPA or CA membership.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting, with a strong focus on not-for-profit organisations.
* Proven experience in financial audits, contract management, and payroll.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
