Our client is looking for a Project Manager to lead, oversee and coordinate the team by being accountable for ensuring all supervisors and contractors are delivering on time and within budget, ensuring a safe work environment. This is an opportunity for you to work on defense and government refurbishment and fit out projects in Darwin.
About The Role
* Maintain the highest standard of EHSQ
* Deliver a project (or projects) from preconstruction to completion of defect liability period
* Build and maintain positive relationships both with project teams and external stakeholders
* Manage the financial and operational excellence across projects
* Understand and comply with relevant policies and practices
* Manage the development of project teams
* Identify and create strategies for profit improvement
* Manage project finance
* Develop and maintain positive client relationships
* Quality management & defect minimisation
What You Will Need
* 2-5 years Project Management experience within the commercial construction, ideally in Fit out and Refurbishment
* Able to pass a defence clearance (DCAC)
* Experience working on projects $5M+
* Strong knowledge of head contracts and subcontracts
* Solid understanding of project methodology, cost reporting, and programming
* Solid experience in interpreting specifications and drawings for accuracy and buildability
* Ability to manage a project to Australian Safety Standards
* Experience with JOBPAC and Procore (desired)
* Proven dedication to EHSQ principles
What You Get In Return
* Salary range of $150K to $170K + Commissions + Super
* Permanent full-time position
* 5 extra paid leave days every year
