APS4 Administration Officer - Location: Geelong, VIC | Duration: 6-month assignment with potential for extension | Pay Rate: $43.82 per hour + super | Eligibility: Australian Citizenship mandatory
The APS4 Administration Officer will work within defined parameters relating to Internal Reviews. The role supports the Internal Review Branch (IRB) by applying well-established policy, principles, practices, and procedures to achieve outcomes that contribute to the organisation's objectives and goals. This position provides operational and administrative support for the IRB and may undertake some research and analysis activities.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Triage incoming requests for internal review, escalations, and other work types as required.
- Contact participants and applicants to support with the lodgment and understanding of Internal Reviews.
- Research and respond to general enquiries, analyze documents and data.
- Organise email inboxes, calendars, appointments, responding to team priorities and timeframes.
- Co‑ordinate and prepare meeting minutes and papers.
- Support drafting of written communications, manage documents and databases.
- Organise travel and finances reconciliation.
- Participate in project management work as directed, supporting delivery of work priorities.
About You
- NDIS Knowledge: understanding of NDIS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Disability Awareness: knowledge of various disabilities and associated challenges.
- Analytical Skills: ability to analyze information, assess evidence, and make sound decisions.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: proven strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Microsoft Office Suite Experience: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant tools.
Desirable Criteria
- Skilled Certifications: certifications in disability services, case management, or administration.
- Relevant Work Experience: experience in disability, social services, or related fields, including administrative roles.
- First Nations Cultural Awareness: understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples and sensitive communication skills.
