The Cathedral School is seeking a permanent full-time Junior School Teacher to commence on 13 July 2026. The successful applicant will be working with a great team of professional Teachers in a school that values its staff.

* Create and maintain supportive and safe learning environments where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
* Assess, provide feedback, and report on student learning to guide progress and support individual growth.
* Engage in ongoing professional learning to enhance your practice and stay current with educational developments.
* Collaborate professionally with colleagues, parents/carers, and the wider school community to support student achievement and wellbeing.
* Actively participate in professional and community networks and forums to broaden your knowledge and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood or Primary) or a degree qualification supported by a post-graduate diploma or degree in teaching or education.
* Current teaching registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
* Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
* A commitment to continuous improvement and student success.
* Current First Aid and CPR certificate.

* Salary of $92,293 for a 1st year teacher and $130,996 for a teacher with 8+ years teaching experience.

Applicants will be subjected to blue card screening, referee checks, identification verification, and will be required to disclose any information relevant to their eligibility to engage in activities involving children and young people.
