About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists to work within the Operational Capability and Training directorate at the NSW SES. This is a diverse and dedicated team who work to development members skills throughout the state.

You will support the development, management, governance and compliance of NSW SES training systems and processes that enables high quality training and reporting across the organisation.

The NSW SES serves the community as the lead agency for Floods, Storms and Tsunamis. We are recognised as the most versatile and widely used emergency service organisation in NSW. Our volunteers are highly skilled, experienced, and well-trained in the wide variety of roles they perform.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

* Support the management of the NSW SES Registered Training Organisation (RTO) against the Standards for RTOs
* Contribute to the maintenance of the quality assurance framework across the organisation through quality checks and audits
* Be proficient in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, internal and external
* Enjoy working within a collaborative team environment to achieve outcomes to support communities of NSW.
* Have thorough knowledge of AIIMS principles and processes and/or willingness to obtain competence within 6 months.

* Attractive salary range of $99,938.00 - $110,271.00 plus 12% superannuation and leave loading

* Provide an example of when you have had to undertake a review of training and assessment material to ensure it met quality and compliance requirements. What process did you follow to complete this quality review?
* Provide an example of when you have had to monitor compliance against the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO), 2015 and/or 2025. What tools and processes did you use?
