Senior Manager, Warehouse Operations & Manufacturing
Role Summary
The Senior Manager, Warehouse Operations & Manufacturing is a senior, hands‐on leader responsible for warehouse execution, manufacturing ownership, and industrialisation within a fast‐growing global consumer goods business.
The role is warehouse‐led in daily execution but brings deep manufacturing and industrialisation capability into a business who conveys leadership, structure, and integration into an established maturing organisation.
This leader operates on the floor, not from an office — balancing speed, cost, quality, safety, and people, while supporting internal customers (Sales and Commercial teams) and scaling operations globally.
Core Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Internal Customer Service
* Own daily warehouse throughput, order velocity, inventory integrity, and service levels
* Lead operations across 2 owned facilities (AU & US) and 2 3PL partners
* Act as a service partner to Sales and Commercial teams, ensuring customer commitments are met
* Manage complex flows across pick‐to‐manufacture, manufacturing orders, and sales orders
* Confidently make decisions when priorities conflict, balancing cost, speed, and service
Manufacturing Ownership & Industrialisation (Burleigh Heads)
* Own all light manufacturing and value‐added production at Burleigh Heads
* Lead supervisors across three manufacturing facilities
* Industrialise products into repeatable, scalable manufacturing processes
* Design standard work, workflows, labour models, and layouts to support growth
* Ensure manufacturing output integrates seamlessly with warehouse fulfilment
Machinery, Tooling & Manufacturing Methods
* Ensure machinery is correctly set up and utilised
* Own jigs, fixtures, tooling, and configuration to enable speed, cost efficiency, and quality
* Apply modern manufacturing techniques (lean flow, standard work, visual management, practical CI)
* Eliminate waste, rework, and inefficiency caused by poor setup or inconsistency
Global Operations & Judgement
* Lead and supervise teams across multiple time zones (APAC, Americas, EU)
* Maintain operational rhythm across regions
* Make confident, real‐time decisions under pressure and ambiguity
Health, Safety & Workplace Standards
* Champion health and safety as a leadership priority across all sites
* Ensure facilities, maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping meet required standards globally
* Connect safety, environment, and culture into a great place to work
* Build pride, accountability, and care into daily operations
* Lead ~50 people across permanent and casual labour models
* Be visible, present, and engaged on the floor
* Develop supervisors and future leaders through coaching and mentoring
* Lift performance by lifting people
* Set and protect a strong, respectful, safety‐first workplace culture
Capital Investment & Scaling
* Own CAPEX for plant, equipment, and manufacturing capability
* Manage procurement, supplier selection, and implementation (WHS & factory consumables)
* Deliver change without disrupting live operations
What We're Looking For
* Senior warehouse‐led operator with strong manufacturing and industrialisation depth
* Proven experience running live, high‐velocity operations
* Comfortable leading globally and across time zones
* Deep floor presence — not an office‐based manager
* Builder of people, capability, and culture
