Project Manager - Demolition
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager - Demolition to join our growing business.
About the Company:
Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, providing services across various industry sectors such as building, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc.
Job Summary:
As a Project Manager - Demolition, you will contribute to the successful delivery of challenging projects with values ranging from $2.5m to $10m, potentially up to $20m.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working on tenders
* Planning and scheduling of construction activities
* Management of site project teams
* Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management
* Preparation of management reports
* Resolving site issues in a timely manner
* Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
* Coordinating internal and external resources
* Business development
* Recruitment and mentoring of teams
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
* 7 – 15+ years' management experience on demolition and civil construction projects with a project value of $5m to $20m+
* Proven demolition experience
* Project management qualifications will be advantageous
* Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
* Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
* Effective problem solving abilities
* Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
* High level of organisation and time management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Location:
The role will be based on site in the Bowen Basin area, with options for living locally or working FIFO/DIDO on a roster basis.
