We are seeking a part-time Primary Teacher’s Assistant to work 20 hours per week during term time.

We are seeking a part-time Primary Teacher’s Assistant to work during term time. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a team of collegiate educators and wonderful Primary School students where the focus is on the whole person. Key Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate will ideally:
* have attained a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Education Support (CHC30213)
* understand the principles and practices of Steiner education, or show a willingness to learn
* show a sound understanding of the NSW Australian primary curriculum
* demonstrate a high level of competence in making adjustments for students who need support
* have experience or understanding of working with neurodivergent children, with a nurturing and inclusive approach
* demonstrate a sound understanding of differentiation practices and is skilled in applying these understandings
* have excellent standards in literacy and numeracy
* have an excellent command of spoken English
* have experience in working in schools
* work well as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues
* Take initiative and be flexible, but also take direction from teachers as required
* Understand the importance of confidentiality
