Your new role
In this role, you will:
* Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
* Utilize Infrastructure as Code with Terraform to ensure consistent AWS deployments.
* Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
* Focus on automating processes and creating efficient systems.
* Work with distributed processing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka to manage large datasets.
* Leverage your knowledge of financial markets and corporate or institutional lending products to enhance data solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
* Have practical experience in building cloud-native applications on AWS.
* Possess hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for consistent AWS deployments.
* Are skilled in designing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
* Prioritize automation and the creation of efficient systems.
* Are familiar with tools like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and other distributed processing frameworks for handling large datasets.
* Have knowledge of financial markets and corporate or institutional lending products, which is a plus.
Desired Tech Skills
* AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate.
* Experience with AWS Glue, EMR, and Lake Formation.
* Proficiency with DBT.
* Knowledge of integration tools such as MQs, REST APIs, and Kafka.
* Strong understanding of RDBMS and Data Lakehouse technologies, including Aurora PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
* Ability to design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
* Understanding of ETL data pipelines using Ab Initio is desirable.
