Solution Architect – Dynamics 365 CE (MSCRM to Cloud Migration)
Overview
Our client is undertaking a strategic upgrade from Microsoft CRM (on-premise) to Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Cloud) as part of a broader platform modernisation initiative.
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture, migration strategy and governance of this transformation. This role will define the target-state architecture, oversee integration and DevOps design, and ensure the successful transition to a scalable, secure cloud-based platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and document the target-state D365 CE Cloud architecture
* Assess current CRM 2011 customisations and integrations
* Develop and lead the migration roadmap, including data migration and remediation strategy
* Establish solution governance, environment strategy and best practice standards
* Architect integrations between D365 CE and enterprise systems including DevOps and ITSM platforms
* Design Azure-based integration patterns using Logic Apps, Functions and APIs
* Ensure secure, scalable and supportable solution design
DevOps & Platform Governance
* Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
* Define release management and environment strategy (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod)
* Embed DevOps and lifecycle best practices across the platform
Stakeholder Leadership
* Act as technical authority for the D365 CE platform
* Lead design workshops and translate business requirements into scalable architecture
* Provide strategic guidance on CRM and case management evolution
Technical Environment
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (Cloud)
* Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
Experience Required
* Proven experience leading CRM 2011 (or similar) to D365 CE Cloud migrations
* Experience designing Azure integrations and DevOps pipelines
* Strong understanding of data migration and platform remediation
* Experience operating in complex enterprise environments
