About the role 
Parkville Youth Justice Precinct is a youth custodial facility that accommodates children and young people aged 12 to 21 years. The Dental Assistant ensures the provision of oral health services by undertaking dental assisting duties consistent with best practice and infection control standards with the entire dental team.

- Work collaboratively with the Oral Health team to enable provision of optimal patient care 
- High-level consideration of patient needs in all clinical decisions 
- Assist in the provision of oral health education and promotion 
- Comply and adhere to all cohealth policies and procedures including code of conduct and values
