About our Forensic Services for Youth
We offer a multidisciplinary assessment and therapy service to youth aged between 10 and 17 years who have engaged in criminal behaviour and are involved with the juvenile justice system.
In this role, you will provide expert clinical knowledge and evidence-based interventions to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering discipline-specific forensic/clinical assessments using standardised psychometric tools and structured clinical interviews.
* Preparing clear, concise written reports that communicate findings and recommendations effectively to consumers and professionals.
* Building strong partnerships to ensure optimal client outcomes through a multidisciplinary approach.
* Working collaboratively with consumers to develop individual care and treatment plans within a recovery-oriented framework.
Requirements:
* A degree in Psychology or an equivalent qualification recognised by the relevant board.
* General registration with the relevant board, with endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
* Approved supervisor status for both primary and secondary supervision.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
