About The Role
Support Workers are responsible for delivering high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities and young people.
* Deliver daily living assistance, emotional guidance, and community engagement.
* Assist with personal care, mobility, and skill development.
* Build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support.
* Support community participation and recreational activities.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans.
* Advocate for customer rights and promote independence.
* Create safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs.
Requirements
To be successful as a Support Worker, you'll need:
* Passion for human rights and creating positive change.
* Empathy, compassion, and resilience.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A Certificate IV in Disability or Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or willingness to obtain).
* Current First Aid, CPR, Drivers licence & NDIS Worker check or willingness to obtain.
* Availability for 24/7 rostered shifts.
