**The Opportunity**
Due to continued growth, a new opportunity is now available for an Assistant Asset Manager. Working with the Senior Asset Managers, you will play a key role on a national portfolio.
**Responsibilities**
- Actively monitor property investment markets to identify opportunities to acquire or dispose of property in accordance with business strategy
- Assist Senior Asset Managers in leasing activity including financial analysis
- Undertake research to provide assistance to the Investment Committee
- Oversee and/or prepare all of the company's valuations and review all statutory valuations in conjunction with the Senior Asset Manager
- Assist the Senior Asset Managers with the asset management role for the portfolios
- Regularly undertake electronic and hard copy filing in accordance with the procedures and filing systems established and maintained by the Information Systems Manager.
- In conjunction with the Managing Director and other key staff members participate in the regular review of the property portfolios
**Ideal Background**
- Degree qualified in Property or similar
- Strong understanding of property valuation concepts and drivers
- Exposure to leasing and asset management activities
- Providing reports to investors and asset owners on new acquisitions and repositioning of existing assets.
- The ability to stay focused and take a considered approach to the role.
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent documentation and writing skills
