We are seeking an
experienced Business Development Manager (BDM)
with a background in the
electrical industry
to drive growth across
Sydney
.
This role is suited to a
senior BDM
who understands both end users and
contractors needs and loves selling a solution
.
Key Products & Solutions
You will sell a broad portfolio of
electrical products
, including:
* Switchboards
– modular switchboards and welded switchboards
* Distribution boards
and
electrical distribution equipment
* Battery Energy Systems
* Industrial control and automation switchboards and marshalling cabinets
Products are supplied to
electrical contractors
, end users, project managers for commercial and industrial projects.
The Role – Business Development Manager
As a
Business Development Manager – Electrical
, you will:
* Drive
new business development
across NSW and AUS (International)
* Build relationships with key accounts
* Promote and specify
electrical switchboards, enclosures and power products
* Manage
B2B sales
,
contractor sales
and
project-based sales
* Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, specification, pricing and order conversion
* Work closely with internal engineering and assembly teams

About You – Electrical Industry Experience Required
To be considered, you must have:
* 10+ years' experience
as a
Business Development Manager
,
Sales Manager
, or
Account Manager
in the
electrical industry
* Proven experience selling
electrical products
,
switchboards
,
enclosures
, or
power distribution and industrial control equipment
* Experience selling to
electrical contractors
,
electrical wholesalers
, or
construction projects
* Strong knowledge of
electrical distribution
,
contractor workflows
, and
project sales
* A track record of achieving sales targets and growing accounts
* High levels of autonomy, discipline and commercial awareness
Existing networks within the NSW
electrical market
are highly advantageous.
